You must log in to view sessions Professional Development General Practice-Oriented Long Workshop

Are you ready to be a teacher trainer? Is teacher training simply just teaching others how to teach, sharing your knowledge and experience? Have you been asked to train other teachers simply because you have been teaching longer than others? Good trainers are good teachers in the classroom, but not all good teachers can be good trainers. This is an interactive workshop focusing on andragogy for current and future English teacher trainers.

Australian Government accredited TESOL Trainer and Assessor (TAE), M.A. TESOL, N.A.A.T.I. Being raised in a bilingual/cultural environment in Australia, I was always fascinated with language and culture ever since childhood. As a child, I could not understand why adults found it so difficult to learn and understand what I thought was natural. This was the making of my lifetime mission; I have been in the English teaching industry for more than 30 years. Training materials and resources may change over the years but one thing which doesn't change is the heart to teach no matter when and to whom you are teaching. My best teachers are my students and my fellow teachers. In the same way, I hope to share my knowledge and expertise with the pre and in-service professionals that I am privileged to cross path with. I have moved to Japan in 2019 and have been involved in EFL teaching and teacher training in Fukuoka.
