I have taught in the area of ESL in Korea for over decade with experience in both primary and tertiary education. I am presently an associate professor at Hanyang University in Seoul, teaching in the areas of academic communication skills in ESL, and philosophy and development in CLiL. I have particular research interests in extensive reading, educational technology, and outside of ESL, collective memory and narrative construction. Impact of Cloud Learning in Extensive Reading

Making the digital transition, this presentation looks at the impact of introducing digital approaches to learning in place of their analogue equivalents in a content and language integrated learning (CLIL) course using an extensive reading approach. The study compares student progress between students using the standard analogue forms of study and students using a cloud-based equivalent. The implications of the study consider the value of switching to digital forms.
